What to Expect
How it Works
What you need now is ease. I’m here to help you simplify the process as you begin your journey.
1
Get in Touch
Start with a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions, and see if we’re the right fit. There’s no pressure—just a chance to connect and decide what feels best for you.
2
Begin Your Journey
In our first few sessions, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify patterns, and develop a plan that feels right for you. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we’ll tailor our work to your needs, whether that means deep processing, practical strategies, or a mix of both.
3
Rediscover Yourself
Over time, you’ll feel more in control of your emotions, relationships, and life. Instead of reacting out of survival, you’ll move with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about reconnecting with who you’ve always been.
You are worth it.
Therapy is an investment in your well-being, your relationships, and your future. The work you do here will impact every part of your life, helping you move through the world with more clarity, confidence, and ease.
When you invest in therapy, you’re not just working through struggles—you’re creating lasting change. This is time dedicated to understanding yourself, breaking old patterns, and building the life you truly want. While growth takes effort, the skills and self-trust you develop in therapy will support you for years to come. You deserve this space for yourself.

Insurance & Payment Options
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and I strive to make it as accessible as possible. I accept several major insurance providers and can help you navigate your options.
I am in network with:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Medica
Optum
UMR
UnitedHealthcare
United Surest
If your insurance provider is not listed, you may still have out-of-network benefits that cover a portion of therapy costs. I can provide a superbill for reimbursement, depending on your plan. If insurance isn’t an option, I also offer private pay options and accept HSA payments.
Not sure what your benefits cover? I recommend reaching out to your provider to ask about mental health coverage, deductibles, and co-pays. If you have any questions, I’m happy to help you figure out the best option for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
I offer online therapy only, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Virtual sessions provide the flexibility to fit therapy into your life without the stress of commuting or scheduling around travel time.
Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions, offering a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with the same depth and connection. Whether you're at home, in a private office, or anywhere you feel comfortable, therapy is accessible wherever you are. All you need is a secure internet connection and a quiet place to talk.
-
At the start of our first session, I’ll go over some key pieces of the paperwork you completed, including informed consent, confidentiality, and important policies. This is also your chance to ask any questions before we dive in.
From there, the focus shifts to getting to know you. We’ll explore what led you to therapy, the experiences that may have shaped where you are now, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Most importantly, this session is about creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and heard.
-
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—how long you stay in therapy depends on your individual needs, goals, and the depth of the work you want to do. Research suggests that many clients start noticing meaningful improvements within 12–15 sessions, and for some, that’s enough to meet their goals and move forward with confidence. Others find value in continuing therapy as their lives evolve, using it as a space for ongoing growth and self-discovery.
My goal is to help you make meaningful progress as efficiently as possible. As long as therapy continues to feel helpful, I’ll be here to support you. Together, we’ll check in on your progress and adjust along the way to ensure therapy remains aligned with what you need

How Do I Know If I Have Complex PTSD?
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) develops from repeated or prolonged experiences of trauma, often in childhood or within relationships that were meant to feel safe. Unlike single-event PTSD, C-PTSD affects how you see yourself, your emotions, and your relationships.
Some common signs of C-PTSD include:
Emotional overwhelm or numbness – Feeling too much or nothing at all, sometimes swinging between both.
Persistent self-doubt or shame – A harsh inner critic that makes you question your worth, choices, or abilities.
Relationship struggles – Difficulty trusting others, setting boundaries, or feeling safe in close connections
Hypervigilance or a sense of impending danger – Always feeling on edge, like you need to prepare for the worst
Difficulty regulating emotions – Feeling easily triggered, reactive, or shutting down under stress.
Patterns of people-pleasing or perfectionism – Prioritizing others' needs over your own or striving for impossible standards to feel “good enough.”
If these patterns resonate with you, therapy can help you understand why they exist, how they impact your life, and what healing looks like for you. Whether or not you have a formal diagnosis, what matters most is finding the support you need.
